If there are queued contacts in a Wait step you need to delete, we recommend lowering the wait time to 5 minutes and let all contacts move forward before deleting.
However, if you do delete a Wait step while contacts are queued, those queued contacts will proceed to the next step in the automation. If it looks like the queued contacts have disappeared once the wait period is deleted, don't panic! It can take a few minutes to process.
