Why does my campaign say “Preparing contacts before sending”?

This means that our system is identifying the contacts that should receive your campaign. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the number of contacts you're sending your campaign to.

Please note that if you are sending to multiple lists at once, or if you have a large exclusion list or a segment with several conditions, this can slow down this process. If you notice that your campaign is in this stage for more than an hour, contact our Customer Experience Team  and we'll be happy to look into it for you.
