How do I send an automated campaign from a Deal Owner?



You can update the “From” name or email address to reflect the Deal Owner in an automated campaign by using the personalize option. This is handy if you want to send the same automated email to your leads, but want to have it come from the deal's owner.

The personalize option becomes available when at least one deal has been created.

  • You must be on the Marketing & Sales Plus, Plus, Professional, and Enterprise bundle to use this solution
  • Note that customers on Sales Professional and Enterprise can send 1:1 emails in lieu of automated campaigns. Learn more about 1:1 emails here

How to send an automation campaign from a Deal Owner

  1. From the Automations overview page, click “Edit” for the automation you wish to modify.
  2. Hover your mouse over the campaign and click the "Edit email" icon.


  3. Click the gear icon located on the upper right corner of the campaign builder.


  4. The Campaign Settings modal will open. Click the personalization icon for either the From Name or From email.


  5. A modal window will open. Click the field under "Select Field."


  6. Scroll down the list of items and select one of the "Deal Owner" fields by clicking it.


  7. Click "Save."

  8. Click "Close" when complete.
