How do I add a GIF to my campaign?

Adding a GIF to your email is a great way to increase subscriber engagement and can help set your brand apart from the rest of the emails in your subscriber's inbox. However, it's important to note that GIFs are not supported by all email service providers. For example, Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013 will only show your first frame. In addition, if your GIF is too large, it may take too much time to load and play on a mobile device.

GIFs can be added to a campaign or automation email by using the image content block in the email designer. 

To get started:

  1. Click “Edit” for your automation email, or “Continue” for your campaign to open the Email Designer.
  2. Drag and drop the image block into your email.


  3. Click the image block to open the Image Manager.
  4. If the file already exists in the image manager, hover your mouse over that file and click “Choose.” If the file is not uploaded in the Image Manager, click “Add new image” to upload it.
