What is the difference between Form Entries and Contacts Created?

When contacts submit your ActiveCampaign form, we will supply you with various statistics. In this article, we will walk you through the two of the more popular form statistics and what they measure.

“Form Entry” or “Total Entries” is total number of times a form was submitted. This number includes duplicate submissions, submissions made by contacts that already exist in your account, and only those contacts that complete the double opt-in process (if double opt-in is used).

“Contacts Created” is the number of new contacts created as a result of submitting your form. If a contact already exists in your account and submits a form, they will not be reflected in this statistic as they are already a contact in your account.
