A contact archive limit is the number of contacts you can archive from your account in a month’s time. For all paid accounts, the archive limit is around your contact limit.

  Only Admin users can archive, restore, or delete contacts.

If you are on a monthly plan, the archive limit will reset around the first day of your monthly billing cycle.

If you are on a yearly plan, the archive limit will reset on the same day of the month as your annual billing cycle. For example, if your yearly billing cycle starts on March 15th, then your monthly archive limit will reset each month on the 15th.

You may run into your archive limit if you are archiving contacts one by one, or via engagement management tool, batch actions, or archiving contacts in bulk from the Contacts Overview page or Lists page, or merging a contact.

If you have reached your archive limit and need to remove more contacts from your account, submit a help ticket and include the following information:

  • Account name. For example, “myaccount.activehosted.com”
  • The reason for archiving contacts
