Available on Plus, Professional, and Enterprise plans.
Deal tasks are to-do items created for deals. Tasks are assigned to deal owners when a task is made. However, you can reassign these tasks at any time to a different deal owner who has permission to access the deal's pipeline.
To assign a task:
- Click "Deals" to navigate to the Deals Overview page.
- Click "Tasks."
- Locate the task you wish to assign to another user.
- Click the down caret for that task, then click "Edit task."
- The "Edit Task" modal will appear. Click the "Assigned To" dropdown and click the account user you wish to assign the task.
- Click the "Save" button.
An email notification will be sent to the user, letting them know that a task has been assigned to them.
