In ActiveCampaign, there are a number of ways to create internal notifications. For example, depending on your plan, you can create a notification when a new deal is added to a pipeline or when a contact subscribes to your list. In this article, we’ll walk you through each type of notification you can create and send from your account.

Deal notifications

Available on Sales Plus, Professional, and Enterprise.

You can select which notifications you would like to receive and how often you would like to receive them. For example, you can receive a notification if a new deal is added to a pipeline or if there is an update to a deal owned by you. These notifications will be sent to the email address associated with the account user.

Create a notification when a contact submits an ActiveCampaign form

Available on Marketing Lite, Plus, Professional, and Enterprise.

Available on Sales Plus, Professional, and Enterprise.

You can create a notification that will send when a contact submits your form. In this notification, you can select who should receive it, and you can customize the message.

Create a notification when a contact subscribes or unsubscribes from your list

Available on Marketing Lite, Plus, Professional, and Enterprise.

You can create a notification that will send when a contact subscribes or unsubscribes from your list. This can be done in both List settings and in an automation.

Send a notification when a contact reaches a step in your automation

Available on Marketing Lite, Plus, Professional, and Enterprise.

Available on Sales Plus, Professional, and Enterprise.

You can automatically send a notification to a team member when a contact completes a step in your automation. To accomplish this, open your automation and click “Sending Options” on the right side of your screen to expand a list of options.

Then click “Notify someone” and drag it to your desired spot in the automation. In this example, we want to send a notification as soon as a contact completes the “Unsubscribe from list” step:

Complete the fields located in the “Compose Message” modal and click “OK.”

The notification is now added to our automation:
