With ActiveCampaign, there are two ways to stop or prevent a scheduled campaign from sending. This article explains both options.
How to disable a scheduled campaign from the Email Campaign Overview page
- Go to the Email Campaigns overview page.
- Locate the scheduled campaign.
- Click the dropdown next to the campaign’s “Edit” button.
Click “Disable.”
- A confirmation message will appear in a modal pop up. Click “OK.”
Your campaign will be listed on the Email Campaigns Overview page with a “Disabled” status. It will appear under all campaigns with a “Sent," "Stopped," or "Disabled" status:
To re-enable this scheduled campaign at any time, click “Enable” from the dropdown then click "OK" in the modal:
How to remove a schedule from a campaign from the Email Campaign Summary page
- Click Email Campaigns on the left menu.
- There are two ways to open up your campaign from here:
- From the "List View" tab:
- Click the "List View" tab
- Click the campaign name or "Continue" button to open the scheduled campaign.
- From the Email Campaigns "Calendar" tab:
- Click the “Calendar” tab
- Click the campaign to open the scheduled campaign
- From the "List View" tab:
- On the Email Campaign Summary page, scroll down to the "Schedule" section of the Email Campaign Summary page.
- Click the “Remove schedule” button. The schedule will be removed.
- From here, click “Send now” to send the campaign immediately or click “Save and exit” to leave the campaign.
