Add ActiveCampaign’s Sync Error Logs to your contact and lead records in Salesforce to see sync errors as they occur.
Take note
- This component can be added to lead and contact record pages
- You can only use this component with synced leads and contacts
- You must complete the ActiveCampaign Salesforce integration setup to use this feature
- The Sync Error logs are read-only
Add the Sync Error Logs component to page layouts in Salesforce
- From your Salesforce account, click the gear icon > “Setup” on the top right.
- Use the search field to locate the Object Manager.
- From the Object Manager page, search for “lead” or “contact,” then click the option to open the Details page.
- Click “Lightning Record Pages” on the left menu.
- Click the option you want to edit.
- Once the page loads, click “Edit” to open the Lightning App builder.
- From the left menu, locate the custom component called “ErrorLogRecordComponent” and drag it to your page layout.
- Click “Save,” then back out of the app builder.
The Sync Error Logs component is now on your Contact and/or Lead record pages.
Information in the “Sync Error Logs” component
The Sync Error Logs component contains the following information:
- Error type - The kind of error it was
- Error Timestamp - Date and time the error occurred
- Sync Type - Outbound (sync to ActiveCampaign) or Inbound (sync to Salesforce)
- Error Message - Error displayed when attempting to sync contacts
“No Error Logs found for this record” message
This message appears in the Error Logs component if a lead or contact was successfully synced, or if the lead or contact has not yet synced.
“Please complete the ActiveCampaign Setup Assistant to use the ActiveCampaign Sync Error Logs Component” message
This message appears if you add the component to your Contact or Lead record pages but still need to complete the integration setup.
