Use the Business Card Scanner in the ActiveCampaign mobile app

With the ActiveCampaign mobile app, you can use the Business Card Scanner to create new contacts with a photo.

Take note

• Available on iOS and Android
• You must allow the ActiveCampaign mobile app to access your camera/photo library

How to create a new contact with the Business Card Scanner

1. Open the ActiveCampaign mobile app on your phone.
2. Click the Contacts tab.
3. Click the plus symbol at the top right (iOS) or bottom right (Android).
4. Click the “Scan Business Card” option.
5. From here, you can either:
   
   1. Scan the business card
      
      • Place the business card in the frame of the photo
      • Auto capture (default) will automatically find and take a picture of the business card
      • Manual allows you to click the circle or trigger button to take the photo
   2. (Android only) Use a photo of a business card from the photo library on your phone
      
      • Click the image icon button to the right of the camera circle or trigger button
      • Choose the photo from your phone photo library
      • Click “Crop & Rotate” to crop the business card as closely as possible, then click “Apply”
      • Click “Done”
6. The Business Card Scanner will pull the following information from the business card:
   
   • Email
   • First Name
   • Last Name
   • Phone Number
7. Make sure the contact information is correct. With Android, you can add an account, tag, or list before creating the contact on this screen. With iOS, you must create the contact and perform these actions on the contact card.
8. Click “Create” at the top right to create the contact.
