With ACHQ, you can create and send automations to administrators in your sub-accounts. These are called “pushdown” automations, and they let your sub-accounts use automated workflows tailored to your business goals. Automations can save you time and help you and your franchises stay organized.
For more information about automations in ActiveCampaign, please read the “What are automations in ActiveCampaign?” help article.
Take note
- You must be an ACHQ Franchise partner to use pushdown automations
- You can only send one automation to your sub-accounts at a time. It is not possible to send multiple automations to your sub-accounts in bulk
- It is strongly recommended that your automation is complete in your parent account before pushing it down to sub-accounts
- Metrics for automations may take up to a 1 minute to populate
How pushdown automations work
When you create an automation in your parent account, you can then publish that automation in your ACHQ account. When you publish an automation, it goes out to each sub-account you select. The automation can have an “Active” or “Inactive” status.
Automations you create in your parent account appear under the “Automations” tab of your ACHQ account. This page displays the following information:
- Automation name - Name of the automation. This is pulled from the parent account connected to ACHQ
- Date created - Date of when the draft or pushdown automation was created in ACHQ
-
Status - Can be Draft, Scheduled, or Published
- Draft - Automation created for publishing. It is not yet pushed down to sub-accounts. The automation is not yet available in sub-accounts
- Scheduled - The automation is configured and ready to be pushed down to sub-accounts at a future date and time
- Published - The automation is pushed down to your sub-accounts. This does not mean that your automation is Active or Inactive
- Accounts Active - The number of sub-accounts where the automation is Active
- Accounts Inactive - The number of sub-accounts where the automation is Inactive
- Accounts Missing - The number of sub-accounts that do not have the automation
-
Edit and View buttons - Can be Edit or View
- The “Edit” button appears if the automation has a “Draft” or “Scheduled” status.
- The “View” button appears if the automation has a “Published” status (pushed down to sub-accounts). Clicking the “View” button takes you to the reporting page for that automation
