We provide top-line email statistics for any "Send Email" action sent to at least one contact. These can be found inline with your “Send Email” automation action as well as the “Messaging” tab located on the top right of the automation canvas.

This article will teach you about inline automated campaign metrics and messaging performance.

"Send Email" action metrics

We provide top-line email statistics for any "Send Email" action sent to at least one contact.

You can see these metrics by opening any automation containing a "Send Email" action.

Hovering and clicking the metrics opens the Messaging tab, where you can view additional metrics for the selected campaign.

Apple MPP opens are included in these metrics.

Messaging tab

Each automation in your account has a Messaging tab. This tab gives you a better understanding of your automated campaigns and their performance at a glance. To access this tab:

  1. Click Automations on the left menu.
  2. Click on an existing automation or create a new one.
  3. Click the arrow located on the top right of the automation canvas.

  4. The Settings tab will expand and display automation-level settings. Click the “Messages” tab.

Campaigns in this view are sorted from top to bottom within the automation. Each campaign displays the name, subject line, open rate, click rate, click-to-open rate, and unsubscribe rate. As you click each message, the automation in the background will jump to the exact spot where your message is.

Each automated campaign has three vertical dots containing a modal menu with actions you can take regarding the message. For example, you can edit the campaign design, save it as a template, preview it, view the associated campaign report, or delete it from the automation.

You can also use the “Test” and “Edit” options to send a test of some or all of the campaigns to up to 5 email addresses and update the sender (“From”) and reply-to information, respectively. Note that to perform bulk actions, you must select each email you want to update or test by clicking the checkbox.
