If you have a WhatsApp business account, you can subscribe to Meta Verified for Business on WhatsApp. Doing so lets you apply the official blue Meta Verified badge to your account, which increases visibility of your brand and lets customers know that your business account is authentic and genuine.

All WhatsApp accounts using the Business app and API are considered business accounts. Only companies with WhatsApp API accounts can apply for the Meta Verified badge.

What is Meta Verified?
Meta Verified is a paid subscription that helps you establish your business’s presence across WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
The Meta Verified badge is a symbol designed to help WhatsApp users distinguish between authentic and fake brand accounts belonging to bad actors. It also allows you to use your business name in chats instead of your phone number, making it easier for customers to find you.
To sign up for this subscription, you must apply and meet eligibility requirements set by WhatsApp and Meta.
Eligibility requirements

Applicant eligibility:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Have a phone number in a country where Meta Verified for businesses is available
- Follow the Meta Verified for Business Terms of Service and WhatsApp Business Terms of Service
Business Account eligibility:
Your WhatsApp Business account must:
- Have a presence on the WhatsApp Business app for a certain number of days
- Have recently sent a message
- Be located in a country where Meta Verified for WhatsApp Business is available
- Have a profile name and picture
- Not have a subscription to WhatsApp Business Premium
- Not have an active Meta subscription through Meta Business Suite
