The “Go to” step lets you direct a contact to another step in your flow.
You may want to use this step to build loops or return the user to a previous step in your Flow. For example, you can create FAQs that let users select different answers or re-use a portion of your messaging flow.
Configure the “Go to” step
- Click WhatsApp > Messaging Flows on the left menu.
- Edit or create a new Messaging Flow.
- If editing a flow, click a flow > Update > Steps. Click a node (+) in the builder where you want to place the action. A modal window will appear. Click the "Go To" option, then click the “Add” button
- If creating a new flow, a modal window will appear in the Flow builder. Click the "Go To" option, then click the “Add” button
- In the “Go To” modal that appears:
- Click the pencil icon to name your action. We recommend using unique names that are short and descriptive
- Click the dropdown and select the step that users should go to next
- Click the “Jump to this step” button
When contacts hit this step in your flow, they will go to the step you selected.
