Setup working hours for WhatsApp Messaging

With working hours, you can set times when your team is available to help customers. If a message comes in outside of these hours, we’ll send an email to notify the team’s users. 

Take note

Working hours are not supported in Chatbot Flows. Instead, you can create a working hours condition inside the chatbot flow.

How to set working hours

  1. Click WhatsApp > Settings on the left menu.
  2. Under “Account config,” click the “Working hours” option.
  3. Click the “Working hours” toggle to set it to the “on” position.
  4. Click the day(s) your team is available to help customers.
  5. Once you click on a day, two dropdown menus will appear where you can select the start and end times for your working hours.

  6. Add your automated response to the box provided. Once set, WhatsApp Messaging will send this message in response to users contacting you outside of your working hours. Note that this message is sent once per 24 hours for each unique contact.
  7. When finished, click the “Save changes” button
