You can edit any WhatsApp template in “Draft” status. To do so:
- Click WhatsApp > Templates on the left menu of your ActiveCampaign account.
- Locate the draft template you want to update, then click the vertical ellipsis.
- Click “Continue editing.”
- The template will open where you can edit various components, such as the template name and content.
- Once you finalize the template, click the “Submit” button under the “Examples” tab.
It is not possible to edit templates that have been approved or rejected. If you need to make changes to a template that has been approved or rejected, you’ll need to duplicate the template first. This will create a new template with the same content as the original and set its status to “Draft.”
To duplicate a template, click the vertical ellipsis for the template you want to copy, then click “Duplicate template.”
