With ActiveCampaign, you can use a single opt-in with your email marketing subscription forms.

A single opt-in means contacts will not be asked to confirm their subscription to your list. Once they submit your form, subscribers are immediately added as “Active” contacts to your list.

Double opt-in is turned on by default for all forms that use the "Subscribe to list" form action. This setting can be turned off at any time.

Opt-ins are configured on ActiveCampaign forms.

Take note

Double opt-in is not available for SMS marketing list forms. By default, single opt-in is turned on for all forms that use the "Subscribe to an SMS list" form action.
