With ActiveCampaign, you can use push notifications to stay in the loop on activities in your WhatsApp conversations.
To activate push notifications, please follow the instructions that best apply to your platform.
Android users
To set up push notifications:
- Tap the Settings icon on your device.
- Scroll down until you find “Apps” or “Applications” and tap on it.
- Search for the ActiveCampaign Hilos app, then tap it to open it.
- Inside the Hilos app settings, tap “Notifications” or “App notifications” to open it.
- If your notifications are turned off, you need to enable them by toggling on the “Allow Notifications” or similar switch.
iOS users
To set up push notifications:
- Tap the Settings icon on your device.
- Scroll down and locate the option labeled ‘Notifications’. Tap on it to proceed.
- In the notifications settings, you will see a list of apps installed on your device. Scroll down until you find “ActiveCampaign Hilos.” Tap on it to open the specific settings for ActiveCampaign’s WhatsApp notifications.
- If your notifications are currently turned off, you’ll need to enable them. To do this, toggle on the option labeled “Allow Notifications.”
- For a complete notification experience, ensure that the following three notification types are activated: Sounds, Alerts, and Banners. You can confirm this by checking that the respective toggles are turned on.
- Disable scheduled summary (if enabled). Make sure you receive WhatsApp notifications immediately, rather than receiving them in the scheduled summary.
