The ActiveCampaign Claude connection lets you access your ActiveCampaign account’s UI and data through Claude so you can ask questions and manage your account using natural language.

Take Note

  • You will need a Claude Pro or Max account for this connection
  • Only ActiveCampaign account administrators can set up the ActiveCampaign and Claude connection
  • If you have a corporate Claude account, your Claude administrator will need to approve this connection for your organization

What to expect with the ActiveCampaign Claude connection

Once the connection is established, you can ask Claude questions as well as access and manage your ActiveCampaign account in real time, all in one conversation. 

For example, you can prompt Claude with “Show me my Contacts,” and Claude will display an interactive UI layer with your ActiveCampaign account. From here, you can use your ActiveCampaign account just as you normally would. 

You can also ask Claude to analyze performance data, locate engaged contacts, and more.

Examples of what this connection do includes:

  • Search and analyze campaign performance
  • Track email activity
  • See which contacts engaged with campaigns
  • Add or remove contacts from automations
  • View and update contacts
  • View, create, and manage deals

Connect Claude to ActiveCampaign

  1. In your ActiveCampaign account, click ​“Settings” (gear icon) in the upper right corner. 
  2. Select ​“Developer” from the Settings menu.
  3. Copy your Remote MCP URL. This URL is unique to your account.
  4. Open your Claude account and click on ​“Settings” in the menu to the left.
  5. Select ​“Connectors.” 
  6. Click on ​“Browse Connectors.”
  7. Select ActiveCampaign from the list of Connectors and click “Connect”. 
  8. The Install ActiveCampaign modal will appear. Paste your Remote MCP URL into the designated field and click the “Continue” button.

The system will guide you through the rest of the connection process. This includes providing your ActiveCampaign login credentials and approving the connection. Once connected, you can open a new Claude chat and start prompting. You can start by asking Claude “What can you help me with in ActiveCampaign?”

  • "List all my ActiveCampaign campaigns and their performance metrics from this month"
  • "Remove John Smith from the 'Re-engagement Campaign' automation in ActiveCampaign"
  • "List all of my open deals in the second stage of my sales pipeline"
  • "Move Elena Murphy's deal to the next stage"
  • "Create a new tag called 'Webinar Attendee' in ActiveCampaign"
  • "Update my 'Product Launch' list in ActiveCampaign to be 'Product Launch Updates'"
  • "Show me my contacts"
