Use the Stripe connector in Active Intelligence

You can enable a connection between your Active Intelligence workspace and your Stripe account. With the Stripe connector, you can use Active Intelligence to create products, check your balance, generate coupons, and more.

Take Note

The Stripe connector differs from the Stripe integration in ActiveCampaign.
- The Stripe connector connects Stripe to Active Intelligence. This gives Active Intelligence the ability to pull information from Stripe to take action in your Stripe account when prompted.
- The Stripe integration syncs Customer, Order, and Subscription data from Stripe into your ActiveCampaign account. This allows you to create and update contacts in ActiveCampaign and trigger automated workflows when an event occurs in Stripe. Learn more about the Stripe integration for ActiveCampaign.

You will need a Stripe account to use this connection. If you do not have an active Stripe account when first using the Stripe connector, you will be redirected to a “create account” page.
You will need to enable MCP access on your Stripe account to use this connector. If access is not enabled when you first try to connect to Stripe, you will be prompted to enable MCP access before continuing.

Connect Stripe to ActiveCampaign

In your ActiveCampaign account, click the “Tools” menu located inside the Active Intelligence prompt bar.
In the “Tools” menu, you will see an option for Stripe. Click the Stripe icon.

You will be redirected to the Stripe connection page. Here, you can control the specific permissions you’d like to grant access to. Next to each category, select “None,” “Read,” or “Write.”
- If your Stripe account does not have MCP access enabled, you will be prompted to enable it before you can proceed. Click the “Enable for…” hyperlink to enable MCP Access
If you agree to the permissions you selected on the page, click the “Authorize” button.
- If you are not already signed into your Stripe account, you will be directed to a Log In page before you can move forward
- If you do not have a Stripe account, click the “Create account” hyperlink under the “Sign in” options.
You will be brought back to your ActiveCampaign account. Click the “Tools” menu in the Active Intelligence prompt bar and verify that the Stripe connector is toggled on.

Once connected, you can input a prompt in Active Intelligence to start working with Stripe. We have provided a few prompt examples below to help you get started. Please note that the Stripe connector must be toggled to the on position in order for Active Intelligence to be able to access your Stripe account.

What you can do with the Stripe connector

You can use Active Intelligence to perform several actions using the Stripe Connector. Here is a list of actions you can perform, broken down by feature:
