With the Resources tool, you can use your own documents as references to provide nuance, on-brand terminology, and strategy-aligned content for campaigns and automations created with Active Intelligence.

Take note

  • Only users with account admin permissions can upload files to Resources. Once the file is uploaded, all users can access it as a resource
  • Active Intelligence can only support PDF and DOCX file types as references for campaign creation

How Resources works

Resources lets you upload and store files such as campaign briefs, brand guidelines, and content playbooks in your ActiveCampaign account. Resources will use Active Intelligence to analyze the file and generate a summary of the file’s content. The summary will highlight key topics, commonly used terms, and other identifiable trends. You can edit this summary to make sure it matches your specific needs. The summary is stored in Resources, and can be used to contextualize future campaigns and automations created by Active Intelligence.

How to upload a file to Active Intelligence Resources

  1. In the Active Intelligence overview page, click the “Customize your AI” button.
  2. Click the “Add resources” button in the upper right-hand corner of the “Resources” section.
  3. The file selection modal will appear. Select a file and click the “Open” button.

When you save the file, it appears in the “Resources” section of the Customize Active Intelligence page. Active Intelligence creates a summary of the file to use as a reference when prompted.
