Muse is an AI assistant that helps you manage tasks across your connected tools through conversation. Connect ActiveCampaign to bring your email and marketing campaign performance data into Muse, so you can ask questions and take action in the same place. Once connected, you can review campaign results, manage contacts and deals, and draft campaigns and automations by describing what you need.
Take note
- These instructions explain how to build a free, ActiveCampaign custom connector in Muse, available to all ActiveCampaign customers.
- If you use a corporate Muse account, your Muse administrator may need to approve the connection.
- Choose read-only access to view and analyze data, or read-and-write access to create and update records.
- You sign in through ActiveCampaign to approve access.
Choose your access level
Before you connect, decide which access level fits your needs.
| Access level | Best for |
|---|---|
| Read-only | Reporting, searching contacts, and checking campaign and automation performance, with no changes to the account. |
| Read and write | Creating contacts, lists, tags, deals, campaign drafts, and automations. |
Start with read-only if you are unsure. You can widen access later by reconnecting and approving the broader access. You cannot undo a change that was already made, so the cautious order is the safer one.
