Welcome to your new navigation

We’re excited to roll out our new navigation to you! We’ve remodeled your account to make navigation easier and more intuitive. In this article, we’ll walk you through the changes so you can quickly find each feature:

Main Navigation
We moved the main navigation from the top of your screen to the left.

As you can see, the order of the tabs remains the same, but now moves from top to bottom instead of left to right.

Search bar
We also moved the global search functionality. Before, it was a clickable magnifying glass on the top right of your screen:



Now, it's a search box that will appear when the navigation panel is expanded:



When the bar is collapsed, you can still click the magnifying glass to search.

To navigate to your Dashboard from anywhere in your account, click the ActiveCampaign logo located on the top left of your screen:

Avatar, Billing and Upgrade
We moved your avatar as well as the link to your Billing & Upgrade page to the lower left of your screen.

Account settings
You can now access account settings by clicking the gear icon located on the lower left of your screen, right above your avatar. Clicking the gear icon will allow you to access the following pages through a sub navigation menu to the left of your screen:

  • Account information: set your username, notification, signature, and account password
  • Addresses: set your physical mailing address
  • Users: create users and set permissions
  • Deals: connect email accounts and set alerts
  • Notifications: set Deal notifications
  • Advanced: select email authentication preference and set date and time format
  • Appearance: modify the site name, add your logo, favicon and customize your template, turn off ActiveCampaign branding and more
  • Domains: set your domain alias
  • Developer: contains your API URL and Key, launch a sandbox, and manage webhooks
  • Tracking: enable site tracking and event tracking
  • Integrations: connect a Deep Data integration
  • Site messages: set the positioning of your Site Messages
  • Conversions: add, edit, delete Conversions
  • Saved Responses: add, edit, and manage your Saved Responses
  • Calendar: create a calendar feed of tasks to add to your own calendar

Contacts
Clicking Contacts will bring you to the Contacts Overview page where you can view and edit your contacts. In addition, this action will open a new sub navigation menu to the left where you can access the following pages:

  • Contacts: Default home of the Contacts tab
  • Manage scoring: Create and edit Lead Scores and Deal Scores
  • Manage tags: Create and edit tags
  • Manage exclusions: Add contacts to your exclusions list and edit current exclusions
  • Perform batch actions: remove contacts in bulk from all lists or specific lists
  • Manage organizations: Add new organizations and edit/delete current organizations
  • Manage tasks: Add, edit, view, and delete tasks for your users
  • Database Sync: perform an import from your database into your ActiveCampaign account.

Campaigns
Clicking Campaigns will bring you to the Campaigns Overview page where you can add and view campaigns as well as edit your campaign drafts. In addition, this action will open a new sub navigation menu to the left where you can access the following pages:

  • Campaigns: Default home of the Campaigns tab
  • Manage Templates: Add and edit templates
  • Message Variables: Add, edit, and delete message variables
  • View Archive: View, enable, and disable your campaign archive
  • Free Design Service: Request a free design service (Accounts on Plus and up only)

With the new navigation, labels can be applied to your campaigns by clicking the checkbox next to your campaign

Once you do, a label dropdown will appear where you can either create a new label or apply a current label:

Automations
Clicking Automations will bring you to the Automations Overview page where you can add new automations and edit current automations. In addition, this action will open up a new sub navigation menu where you can manage all automation emails.

With the new navigation, labels can be applied to your automations by clicking the checkbox next to your automation:

Once you do, a label dropdown will appear where you can either create a new label or apply a current label:

You also have the ability to filter automations by status:

Deals (accounts on Plus, Professional, and Enterprise tiers only)
Clicking Deals will bring you to the Deals Overview page where you can view and edit your pipelines, and create new deals. Clicking the Deals tab on the left menu collapses the main navigation on the left, leaving you ample room to work on your pipelines. A sub navigation menu will not appear on the left side of your screen for this section.

The ability to add a new pipeline and pipeline options remain on the left side of the Deals page:

However, the ability to add a new stage is now on the right side, next to the “New Deal” button:

Lists
Clicking Lists will bring you to the Lists Overview page where you can add a new list and edit current lists. In addition, this action will open a new sub navigation menu on the left where you can access the following pages:

  • Manage Lists: Default home of the Lists tab
  • Manage Fields: Add, edit, and delete custom fields
  • Subscriptions by email: Enable, disable, and edit “Subscribe by Email” feature
  • Manage Exclusions: Add/remove contacts to your Exclusion List
  • Edit Email Headers (Enterprise plans only): Create and custom headers for your outgoing emails

Forms
Clicking Forms will bring you to the Forms Overview page where you can create new forms and edit current forms. In addition, this action will open a new sub navigation menu on the left where you can access the following pages:

  • View Forms: Default home of the Forms tab
  • Manage Fields: Add, edit, delete custom fields
  • View App Directory: View apps that integrate with ActiveCampaign
  • Site & Event Tracking: Enable site and event tracking
  • ActiveCampaign API: Retrieve your API URL and Key for integrations
  • Webhooks: Create, edit, and disable webhooks

Reports
Clicking Reports will bring you to the Reports Overview page where you can view reports for the following features: Campaigns, Automations, Goals, Contacts, and Deals.

Clicking the down caret for Contact Reports and Deals Reports will open a third level of navigation:

Apps
Clicking Apps will bring you to the Apps Overview page where you can view a list of Apps we integrate with. In addition, this action will open a sub navigation menu where you can narrow down app results by category.
