Overview of automation statistics

You can view automation statistics and email metrics from the Automations section of your ActiveCampaign account. 

Automation statistics on the Automations Overview page

Automation statistics provide a snapshot of each automation's performance and are available on the Automations overview page. They are shown in columns that can be added or removed to feature the data most relevant to your needs.

The statistics on the Automations overview page let you quickly access key information for each automation. You can choose to display from the following statistics:

  • Automation
    Name of the automation and the automation's status. 
  • Business Goals/ Labels
    The Business Goals and Labels that are currently assigned to the automation.
  • Last Edited
    The date that the automation was last edited.
  • Current Contacts
    Total number of contacts currently moving through the automation. This will not include contacts that have a "completed" status for the automation.
  • Total Entries
    The total number of times contacts have entered the automation.
  • Total Completions
    The total number of times contacts have completed the automation.
  • Completion RateA percentage calculated by taking the total number of completions and dividing it by the total number of entries.
  • Email Sends
    The total number of emails that have been sent from the automation.
  • Average Open Rate
    An average percentage based on all of the emails in the automation. It is calculated by dividing the total number of unique email opens by the total number of email sends.
  • Average Click Rate
    An average percentage based on all of the emails in the automation. It is calculated by dividing the total number of unique contact clicks by the total number of email sends.
  • Total Conversions
    The total number of conversions triggered by contacts while they were in the automation.
  • Conversion Rate
    A percentage calculated by taking the total number of conversions and dividing them by the total number of entries into the automation.

How to add or remove columns

To add or remove columns for specific statistics, follow these steps:

  1. Click the gear icon located underneath the Search bar on the Automations overview page.

  2. This will open a dropdown menu. Scroll through the menu to find the statistics column you'd like to add or remove.
  3. Check or uncheck the box to the left of the column's name you want to display or remove.

The changes will now be displayed in the Automations overview page. Please note that the Automation, Business Goals/ Labels, and Last Edited columns are standard statistics and cannot be removed from the overview page.
