How do I update contact fields during a conversation?

Conversations is available on all plans levels and can be purchased as an add-on to your account.

When you or an agent opens a conversation with a visitor, you'll have the option to update contact custom fields and the following standard fields:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Account 
  • Job title

Any updates made to these fields will appear on the contact's profile record.

How to update contact field values for a visitor

1. Click the field value in the visitor details pane.

2. A dialog box will open. Type the new value for the field.

3. Click the "Save" button
