Use the “Inline Form” block to add any inline ActiveCampaign form to your landing page. Adding a form to your page lets you capture contact information, grow your email marketing lists, use a double opt-in process, and more.

Take note

  • You can only use inline forms with this block
  • You can leverage any ActiveCampaign form action with this block. For example, you can choose from add a tag, add to deal, email results, and subscribe to list
  • Page-specific tags are not added to contacts who submit a form using this block

Add an ActiveCampaign form to your page

  1. From the page builder, make sure the “Blocks” tab is selected on the top right bar.
  2. Drag the “Inline form” block to your layout.
  3. A modal window will appear. Click "Use an existing form."
  4. Click the form you want to add to your page.
  5. Click the “Add form” button.

Build an ActiveCampaign form in your page

  1. From the page builder, make sure the “Blocks” tab is selected on the top right bar.
  2. Drag the “Inline form” block to your layout.
  3. A modal window will appear. Click “Build a new form.”
  4. Type the name of your form into the Inline Form Name field.
  5. Click the “Form Action” dropdown and click the action you want to use. You can choose from any of the following:
    • Add a Tag
      Adds a tag to each contact who submits your form.
    • Email Results
      Sends a notification to anyone on your team each time a contact submits your form.
    • Subscribe to a list
      Subscribes the contact to your list. You can use a double opt-in (default) or single opt-in.
    • Add to a Deal
      Creates a deal for each contact who submits your form.
    • Note that you can add as many actions as you like to a form.
  6. Click the "Options" dropdown to select an option to match your action. The items displayed in this dropdown will differ based on the selected action.
  7. When finished, click “Start building form.”
  8. The ActiveCampaign form builder will appear to finish building your form. To learn more on how to create a form in ActiveCampaign.
  9. Once you have finished building your form, click “Add to your page” at the top right. The form will be published and added to your landing page. You can edit the form on the page builder later.

  If you choose to "Save and Exit" while building the form, this will save your progress under "Website" > "Forms" and will not add it to your page.

Edit an ActiveCampaign form in your page

Once you create or add an ActiveCampaign form on your landing page, you can edit it from the page builder.

  1. From the page builder, click the “Inline form” block on your page layout.
  2. Click the “Edit” button on the right side bar.
  3. The form designer will appear. Make any edits needed.
  4. Click “Update form” to save changes and return to the form. If you click the “Return to Pages” button and return to the Page, changes will not be saved.

  You can also edit forms under "Website" > "Forms." Any saved changes will automatically update on the form in your page.

Replace your ActiveCampaign form

Once you add an ActiveCampaign form to your landing page, you can replace it with another.

  1. From the page builder, click the “Inline form” block on your page layout.
  2. Click the “Replace form” button on the right sidebar.
  3. A modal window will appear. Click the form you want to add to your page.
  4. Click the “Add form” button.
