With ActiveCampaign, based on your plan, you can add a Cc or Bcc to any 1:1 emails sent to a contact from the contact overview page, a contact record, a deal record, an account record, or an automated 1:1 sales email.

Set a Cc or Bcc on a 1:1 email

  1. Depending on where you want to send your 1:1 email from, click Deals, Contacts, or Contacts > Accounts to navigate to the desired page.
  2. Locate the deal, contact, or account containing the contact you wish to send the email to.
  3. Click the deal, contact, or account name to open it.
  4. Open the email composer. There are three ways you can do this: 
    • Click the “Send an email” button at the top right
    • From the deal, contact, or account record, click the email address of the contact you wish to send an email to
    • Click the “Emails” tab at the bottom of the deal, contact, or account record and click “Send an email”
  5. Click either the Cc or Bcc option.
  6. Type the individual's email address who should receive a copy of the email message.

Available on Sales Professional and Enterprise plans.

  1. Click Automations to go to the Automations overview page.
  2. Click “Edit” for the automation containing the “Send a 1:1 email” action you wish to update.
  3. Click the “Send a 1:1 email” action to open the email composer.
  4. Click the “Add Cc/Bcc” option.
  5. Type the individual's email address who should receive a copy of the email into the field.
  6. Click “Save.”
