What is the difference between "History View" and "Path View" in an automation?

When looking at a contact's path in an automation, you can choose between "History View" and "Path View."

History View

This view shows you the current version of your automation and a contact's path in it. This view also shows you the entire automation.

Path View

This view shows you the actions that a contact completed in your automation only. It may not display your entire automation.

If you made updates to the automation after the contact entered it, this view would show you the exact version of your automation that the contact was in.

Note that if the contact is still proceeding through your automation, you can only see up to the most recently completed action in your automation. If using an "If/Else" action, you will only see the path the contact took.
