As of February 23, 2022, ActiveCampaign will use a 2048 DKIM key for all customers who have set up DKIM with CNAME DNS records. Note that if you have a legacy DKIM record setup with TXT records, you can update this anytime to use the new DKIM via CNAME method. Setting up DKIM via CNAME will move you from our legacy 1024 key to a new 2048 DKIM key.
Therefore, it is no longer necessary to set up a custom DKIM for a 2048 key. However, if you still want to implement a custom DKIM key we can accommodate you. This is a manual process outside of the normal product workflow that we can walk through with you.
To request a custom DKIM, please open a Help ticket and answer the following questions:
- What ActiveCampaign accounts would you like a custom DKIM solution for?
- How many domains are you sending from?
Once we have this information, we will work with you to set up a custom configuration for your account(s) and domain(s).
