If your campaign width has increased or is no longer lining up with the rest of the campaign upon send, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to help fix this issue:
- Text is too long
Use hyperlinks for long text like a website URL or email address. Break up other long text into smaller - Heading or text in general is too large
Decrease the font size for large text sizes. - Using an inline image in a text block
Instead of putting an image in a text block, we recommend using an image block and a text block separately. - Gmail is “clipping” the email
If the email size is larger than 102kb, Gmail is most likely “clipping” the email and causing the width distortion. To learn more, visit Why is Gmail "clipping" my email? to help troubleshoot. - Custom HTML
It is possible that custom HTML code in your email is interfering with the width upon send. Please review the code. The ActiveCampaign Support team is not able to help you implement or troubleshoot any custom code. If you need assistance with this troubleshooting step, we recommend working with your developer or an ActiveCampaign Certified Consultant.
We also recommend testing your email before sending it to your list. You can run an Email Client Preview test from the Campaign Summary page or send a test version of your message to an email address to see if the campaign width appears correctly.
