No. We do not automatically increase your contact limit unless you have enabled auto-upgrade in your account. This article explains how to increase your contact limit manually and how to enable auto-upgrade in your ActiveCampaign account
Take note
- Only Primary Admins or an Admin with billing permissions can increase contact limits
- If you approach your contact limit, we'll display a banner on each page in your account where you can take action, or you can follow the instructions below
Increase your contact limit
- Log into your ActiveCampaign account.
- Click your profile > Billing & Upgrade.
- Click the "Edit" link next to your contact amount.
- A modal window will appear. Use the dropdown to increase your contact limit.
- Click the "Update contact limit" button.
- Follow the steps to confirm your purchase.
If you need to decrease your contact limit, please contact our Customer Experience team.
Turn on auto-upgrade
- Log into your ActiveCampaign account.
- Click your profile > Billing & Upgrade.
- Under “Automatic Upgrades,” click the “Edit” link next to “Contact limit.”
- A modal will appear. Click the toggle button on to confirm auto-upgrade terms.
- Click the “Confirm” button to confirm account changes.
