Accounts that are canceled or expire become archived. You may unarchive your account depending on how long the account has been archived.

This article documents how direct accounts, or accounts created directly with ActiveCampaign, can unarchive their account. If you are a partner or reseller account, learn how to unarchive partner accounts.

Take note

  • Only the Primary Admin of the account can unarchive an account
  • Once your account is archived, we cannot recover your account name, username, or password. Please reach out to our Customer Experience team to help reset your email

Accounts archived for less than one year

  1. Go to www.activecampaign.com and click "Login" at the top of the page.
  2. Type in your ActiveCampaign account name and click “Login.”
  3. Once you have successfully logged in, choose your plan by clicking “Reactivate” or “Upgrade.” “Request Pricing” will not reactivate your account, but you can click it if you want a customized plan.
  4. On the next page, fill out the billing information and click “Complete purchase.”
  5. Once payment is made, the account will begin the unarchive process. The main admin will receive the following emails:
    • Receipt of payment
    • Confirmation email that the unarchive process has begun
    • Final confirmation email once the account is ready with a link to log into the account

Accounts archived for more than one year

Accounts that have been archived for more than one year do not have any data in them. We only retain data for a year. You cannot unarchive accounts that have been archived for more than one year. You'll need to sign up for a new account.

Here is an example of the message you will see if your account has been archived for more than one year:
