ActiveCampaign’s Folder Manager is a centralized page where you can manage all folders throughout your ActiveCampaign account.
You can use the Folder Manager to see which folders already exist, as well as create, edit, and delete folders from your account. Additionally, you can apply, remove, create, and delete folders from the overview pages of automations, campaigns, and forms.
The folder manager is also where you can turn an existing folder into a business goal. Learn more about business goals.
In this article, you will tour the Folder Manager and learn how to use it to create, edit, and delete folders.
Take note
- Once you create a folder in the Folder Manager, you can apply that folder to any form, automation, or campaign in your account
- Once you edit or delete a folder from the Folder Manager, that change is reflected throughout your account
- Once a folder is upgraded to a business goal, it cannot be downgraded. If you accidentally convert a folder into a business goal, you must create a new folder to maintain your original folder structure
Access and view the Folder Manager
To locate the Folder Manager, click “Settings” (gear icon), then click Folders on the side menu.
If you created folders in the past, they will be listed on the Folder Manager page. If you haven’t created any new folders, you will see information about folders and a button to create one. To learn how to create a folder, see the “Create a folder” section below.
In addition to the folder names, the Manager includes folder colors and the number of times that folder has been applied to a campaign, automation, or form. Clicking any of these numbers provides direct links to the campaigns, automations, forms, and landing pages that use that folder.
