Active Intelligence 3.0: Wavelength

Active Intelligence 3.0: Wavelength is ActiveCampaign's first named release of Active Intelligence. It brings proactive, account-aware intelligence to the accounts you manage, using each client's history, automations, performance patterns, audience behavior, brand, and relevant external signals to surface the right next move.

For partners, this means extending your judgment and strategic expertise across more client accounts while keeping recommendations specific to each client.

Compared with Active Intelligence 2.8, this release moves beyond improving prompted campaign output to deliver more proactive, context-aware intelligence that can surface recommendations, drafts, and actions before a partner or client asks.

What's new

Active Intelligence 3.0 introduces 12 capabilities across three pillars, all supported by one shared context layer.

Pillar Capabilities Partner opportunity
External Intelligence Adaptive memory, content performance, industry benchmarks, automation patterns, cross-account intelligence, and multi-asset analysis Scale account-specific expertise and make recommendations from evidence rather than instinct.
Autonomous Actions Proactive drafts and ideas, scheduled tasks and actions, and monitoring and performance recaps Move from reactive account support to a more proactive service model.
Advanced AI External intelligence and brand monitoring, AI image generation, and AI email translations Extend client reach with timely context and more complete, market-ready creative.

One shared context layer

The context layer is the foundation underneath every Active Intelligence 3.0 capability. It brings together:

  • Account profile and history, including the client's industry, audience, and previous work.
  • Platform usage, so recommendations fit the tools and workflows already in use.
  • Campaign performance and content, including what is landing and what is not.
  • Brand and external signals, including the client's brand and relevant information beyond the account.

Partners can strengthen this foundation with Brand Kit, custom instructions, and memory. The result is guidance that becomes more specific to the client and more aligned with the way you work.

External Intelligence

External Intelligence is the foundation of account-specific guidance. It helps Active Intelligence 3.0 understand what has happened in each account, what is working now, and which patterns are worth carrying forward.

Value for partners

Apply strategic judgment across a portfolio without flattening every account into the same recommendations. External Intelligence gives you stronger evidence for client conversations, more consistent delivery, and a way to turn proven patterns into repeatable expertise.

Partner motion

Use this pillar to build a repeatable account-review framework grounded in each client's own performance, content, and automation evidence.

Partner example

Agencies and solution partners managing multiple accounts, especially where clients need ongoing optimization, performance reviews, lifecycle strategy, or automation support.

Active Intelligence
Adaptive memory
Adaptive memory

Adaptive memory learns how each client account works over time. It reads activity such as sends, engagement, and workflows, becoming more precise with every interaction. Future guidance can reflect the account's accumulated patterns instead of relying on generic advice. Use it to give clients continuity across campaign planning, optimization, and reporting.

Active Intelligence
Content performance
Content performance

Content performance analysis identifies the creative, messaging, and subject-line patterns that resonate with each audience. It surfaces content driving opens and clicks while highlighting assets that may be losing effectiveness and are ready to refresh. This gives you a practical way to focus testing on patterns with evidence behind them.

Active Intelligence
Industry benchmarks
Industry benchmarks

Industry benchmarks put campaign results in context by comparing open and click performance against relevant benchmarks. This helps distinguish an isolated result from a meaningful signal and supports more realistic targets. It also gives clients a shared language for performance conversations across industries and account teams.

Active Intelligence
Automation patterns
Automation patterns

Automation patterns identify the structures and approaches that consistently produce results within an account. Active Intelligence 3.0 reads how automations are built and helps turn successful patterns into repeatable approaches, not one-off solutions. This is especially useful when standardizing journey design across similar client use cases.

Active Intelligence
Cross-account intelligence
Cross-account intelligence

Cross-account intelligence allows proven patterns from one client account to inform the approach for similar accounts. It helps a partner's book of business become collectively smarter while keeping recommendations tailored to each client's context. The value compounds as repeatable approaches are informed by a wider set of client outcomes.

Active Intelligence
Multi-asset analysis
Multi-asset analysis

Multi-asset analysis reviews a campaign as a complete piece, bringing copy, imagery, and structure together. Feedback reflects how the assets work as a finished campaign rather than evaluating one component in isolation. This makes it easier to assess whether a campaign is coherent before it reaches the client or the audience.

Autonomous Actions

Autonomous Actions put proactive drafts, recurring work, and monitoring into the background of each account. Active Intelligence 3.0 can bring useful work forward on a cadence that fits the client instead of waiting for someone to open a chat.

Value for partners

Get ahead of client questions, establish repeatable review rhythms, and identify opportunities or issues before they become reactive support conversations.

Partner motion

Define standard cadences for the checks, reports, and drafts that support your service model, then tailor the prompt and timing to each account.

Partner example

Partners managing a growing portfolio, clients with recurring reporting or optimization needs, and service models built around regular account reviews.

Active Intelligence
Proactive drafts and ideas
Proactive drafts and ideas

Active Intelligence 3.0 can prepare campaign drafts and suggested next steps before a partner or client asks. These drafts are grounded in the account's history, audience, performance, and patterns, giving you a relevant starting point for review. The result is a more proactive client experience: your team can review and approve work instead of waiting for a request.

Active Intelligence
Scheduled tasks and actions
Scheduled tasks and actions

Scheduled tasks and actions allow recurring work to run on a cadence set by the partner or client. Users can schedule recurring insights, reports, or follow-up work instead of repeating the same prompt manually. Cadences can be tailored by account, service tier, campaign rhythm, or reporting need.

Active Intelligence
Monitoring and performance recaps
Monitoring and performance recaps

Monitoring and performance recaps watch automation health and marketing performance across the portfolio, surface areas that need attention, and package the results into clear recaps ready to review or share. Recurring insight cards and report-style views lead with the relevant data or metric before analysis and recommended next steps. Use the recap as a starting point for a client review, optimization plan, or escalation.

Advanced AI

Advanced AI reaches beyond the account and supports finished creative. It brings outside signals into the client conversation and helps partners extend delivery across visual content and multi-market campaigns.

Value for partners

Connect account performance to what is happening in the client's market and brand environment. Advanced AI supports more timely recommendations, more complete campaign delivery, and a stronger market-expansion story.

Partner motion

Combine external signals, on-brand creative, and localization into launch or campaign packages that help clients respond to market moments more confidently.

Partner example

Clients with active brands, multiple markets, frequent launches, or limited access to dedicated creative and localization resources.

Active Intelligence
External intelligence and brand monitoring
External intelligence and brand monitoring

External intelligence and brand monitoring bring relevant signals from outside the account into Active Intelligence. Active Intelligence 3.0 can consider changes and mentions connected to a client's brand, website, competitors, industry, and broader market context, helping recommendations reflect what is happening around the business. This can connect external changes to timely campaign opportunities instead of treating market context as a separate research task.

Active Intelligence
AI image generation
AI image generation

AI image generation creates campaign-ready visuals within the campaign-building flow. Imagery is informed by the account's brand context, helping users produce visuals aligned to the client without separating visual production from the campaign strategy and messaging. Partners can present a more complete campaign concept when design resources are limited or turnaround expectations are high.

Active Intelligence
AI email translations
AI email translations

AI email translations turn an existing email into audience-ready variants in additional languages. Translations happen within the campaign workflow, allowing teams to expand into new markets without rebuilding each email manually. This makes localization more repeatable when the same campaign needs to support several regional audiences.
