Create your landing page
You can create Landing pages in the Pages section of your ActiveCampaign account. Each page you make starts from a page template. The Pages template you select determines the initial structure of your page's content.
To create a landing page:
- Click "Site" in the left menu of your account.
- Click the "Pages" option.
- Click the "Start building" button.
- Click the "Add a new page" button.
- The templates page will load. Locate the template you wish to use for your page. Hover your mouse over the template and click the "Use This Template" option that appears. If you want to start with a blank template, click the "Blank" option instead.
You can preview any template before using it. To do so, click the "Preview" option that appears when you hover over the template. You can see how the template looks on both desktop and mobile.
- The template will load in the page builder, and a "Rename Page" modal will appear. Type the name of your page into the field provided, then click the "Save" button.

Add a form to your landing page
Adding a form to your page will generate leads and grow your email marketing lists.
There are three options to choose from for adding a form to your page:
Option 1: Use the “Inline form” block to build an ActiveCampaign form in your page (recommended)
You can use the “Inline form” block to build an ActiveCampaign form from scratch, directly from your landing page.
Using an ActiveCampaign form means that any form action you applied to your form's settings will take effect here. These actions are set on the form itself. Form actions include:
- Subscribes to a list
- Add a tag
- Email results
- Add to a deal (Plus, Professional, and Enterprise accounts)
To build your form, drag the “Inline form” block to your page layout then select “Build a new form.” Type the name of your form into the Inline Form Name field and choose your “Form Action.” Then, click “Start building your form” to start creating your new ActiveCampaign form.
For more details on this option, visit How to add an ActiveCampaign form to your page.
Option 2: Use the “Inline form” block to add an ActiveCampaign form to your page (recommended)
You can also use the "Inline form" block to add any form you create in the "Forms" section of your ActiveCampaign account to your landing page.
To add your form, drag the “Inline form” block to your page layout then select “Use an existing form” and choose the form you want to use.
For more details on this option, visit How to add an ActiveCampaign form to your page.
Option 3: Use the "Pages Form" block
You can use the "Pages Form" block with your landing page. To do so, drag the block to your page layout from the right pane of the page editor.
Note that this option does not opt-in contacts or add them to your email marketing list(s).
You can collect the name, email, phone, and information for the following custom contact field types:
- Text input fields
- Text area fields
- Single-select dropdown
- Radio button
Note that the email address field is required. Upon submission, the "Pages Form" block will add the following tags to the contact's profile record:
For more information on this option, visit How to use the Pages Form block.
Add tracking and analytics code to your landing page
Once your page is published, you can turn on ActiveCampaign site tracking. All you need to do is navigate to the Tracking page in your ActiveCampaign account. From there, you can enable site tracking and whitelist your domain.
For more information, visit Use site tracking with your ActiveCampaign page.
If using Google Analytics, you can add the tracking ID to your page under page settings. Once added, you can collect data on visitors to your page.
Visit How to add Google Analytics code to your page for more information.
Set meta information for your landing page
Meta information helps people find your content. With Pages, you have control over this information and how it is displayed online.
For example, you can set the title that will display in a Google search, the image that will appear when your page URL is posted on social media, and relevant keywords that will help people find your page.
You can access Meta information from page settings:
- From Pages, hover over the page you wish to use.
- Click "View Page Settings."
- Click the "Meta" tab to set your meta information.
For more details on setting this information, visit How to set meta information for your ActiveCampaign page.
Branded page footer
If you are on a lite plan, your published page will include a footer that says "Built with ActiveCampaign." It is not possible to remove this footer.
If you are on a Plus, Professional, or Enterprise plan, you will be able to toggle the "Built with ActiveCampaign" footer off. This is located in the page builder under the "Theme" tab.
Publish your landing page or save it as a template
Once you've finished creating your landing page, you can publish it or save it as a template. Publishing your page will generate a unique URL that you can customize.
Save your page as a template
To save your page as a template:
- Click the ellipsis next to the page's name
- Click "Save as Template."
Publish your page
To publish your page:
- Click the "Publish page" button.
- A modal window will open. Select your domain from the dropdown, then type the URL into the next field.
- Click the "Publish" button.
After you publish your page, it will be live. However, no one will see your page until you share the link with your audience.
Click the "X" next to your page name at the top to close the page editor.
Share your landing page
Once you're ready, you can share your page in your ads, emails, social posts, or other online marketing campaigns. To do so, copy the landing page URL and share it with your audience.
Manage your landing page
You can view your published page, deactivate your page, or make changes to the content, layout, theme, or page URL at any time.
To do so, navigate to Pages in your ActiveCampaign account. Once there, hover your mouse over the page you wish to view or edit. Click the "Edit Design" button that appears. When the page editor opens, you can make any desired change to your page's content, theme, and layout.
To make changes to the URL, page name, or to deactivate your page, click the ellipsis that appears next to your page's name in the editor. This will open page actions where you can:
- Get the page's URL
You will need this URL to share with your audience and whitelist for site tracking.
- View the live page
See your live, published page.
- Deactivate your page
Clicking this will revert the published page to a draft.
- Rename your page
The page name is used to identify your page and create a default page slug. Page slugs are used to build your page's URL. Renaming your page does not change the page slug.
- Save your page as a template
This allows you to save your page as a template for future pages.
