How can I find contacts that were sent a campaign?

You can find contacts who were sent a campaign by conducting an advanced search that uses the “Has been sent” condition.

With this condition, you can search for who was sent a specific campaign, any campaign, or an automation email.

This search condition does not include personal emails sent from the Contacts Overview page, the contact profile page, or deals.

1. Click Contacts on the left menu.
2. Click the "Advanced Search" button located in the search field.
3. The segment builder will appear. Here you can prompt Active Intelligence to look for contacts who were sent a campaign, or you can build your search conditions from scratch. 
4. To build your search conditions from scratch:
   • Click the “Build with segment conditions” dropdown field
   • Click the “Select a condition” field and select “Actions” > “Has been sent”
   • Click the value field to select any email or a specific email
   • Use the remaining fields to set a time frame
   • Click the “Search” button

All contacts who were sent that campaign will load.

Use Active Intelligence to create an advanced search

Instead of building search conditions from scratch, you can have Active Intelligence do it for you. 

To do so, click the “Advanced Search” button, type your prompt into the field provided, then hit the “Return” or “Enter” key on your keyboard.

Active Intelligence then translates your prompt into segment conditions and executes the search. You can see your search conditions by clicking the “Build with segment conditions” dropdown. Contacts who meet your conditions display below the segment builder.

You can use prompts such as:

• Find contacts that received the [Campaign name] campaign
• Find contacts who were sent [Campaign name] but never opened it
• Find contacts who received an email from us in the last 90 days and who have the tag [Tag name]
