Folders are keywords you can apply to your campaigns, automations, and forms to help you stay organized by grouping relevant assets. They are flexible, and you can add multiple folders to a single campaign, automation, or form.
While you can use folders however you like, we recommend creating folders for specific topics, audiences, purposes, or larger initiatives, including business goals.
Depending on your ActiveCampaign plan, you can create, edit, and delete folders from the Folder Manager or the Forms, Campaigns, and Automations overview pages.
How Folders work
You can create new folders from the Folder Manager and the overview pages for Campaigns, Forms, and Automations. Once created, you can apply the folder to any asset - campaign, automation, and/or form - to group them together.
Where are folders used?
In addition to adding them to campaigns, automations, and forms, you can:
- Use folders to filter reports
- Apply folders to campaigns and automations used with the Salesforce integration
- Apply folders to campaigns and automations used with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration
You can also turn a folder into a business goal. This allows you to track the success of one or more assets toward one or more conversions for that business goal in a single place. Learn more about business goals.
