You can set Wait, If/Else, and Goal actions to wait until a specific time, date, day of the week or a combination of time, date, & day of the week.
Take Note
- Conditional “Wait,” “If/Else,” and “Goal” actions use the segment builder
- If your segment condition includes "Time" and "Is after" with the value of 11 pm, contacts with the value of 12 am will either proceed down the "No" path if it’s an “If/Else” action or will not meet the condition in your “Wait” or “Goal” actions. This is because 12 am is before 11 pm
- For “Wait” actions, we recommend using the “Wait until a specific day and/or time” or “Wait until custom date field matches” configuration options, as they are the most straightforward way to configure date-based “Wait” actions. We only recommend using conditions in the “Wait until specific conditions are met” configuration option (explained below) if you want to combine those conditions with others like “Has a tag” or “Is active on a list.”

For time
Wait until 8 AM means wait until 8 AM - 8:59 AM.
Contacts will meet this condition between 8:00:00AM and 8:59:59AM.
For date and time
Fill out as many values as you need for your condition. If you do not want to use one of the values, then leave it blank. This way, you can use date and time conditions in the same automation and only use the values you need.
For Day of the week
Select the "Current day of the week" condition to only send contact to the next step on weekdays, weekends, or a certain day of the week.
How to use more than one condition
To use more than one condition, click on the "+ Add another condition" option.
